General Purpose

 

The Export Sales Executive plays a crucial role in expanding the market reach by identifying and capitalizing on international sales opportunities. This position involves developing and executing sales strategies to drive exports, managing relationships with overseas clients and distributors, and ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of international trade regulations and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development:

  • Identify and evaluate potential export markets.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to assess demand, competition, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop market entry strategies and expansion plans for target countries or regions, considering factors such as consumer preferences, distribution channels, and economic trends.

Customer Acquisition and Relationship Management:

  • Prospect and establish relationships with overseas customers, distributors, and importers.
  • Leverage existing networks and conduct outbound sales activities.
  • Ensure alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.
  • Provide ongoing support and communication to international clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.

Market Intelligence and Analysis:

  • Stay informed about global market trends, trade policies, and regulatory changes.
  • Analyze sales performance data, market feedback, and competitive intelligence.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Generate regular reports and insights to inform decision-making within the export sales department.

Order Processing and Logistics:

  • Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, shipping, finance) to facilitate the export process.
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively communicate with customers to provide updates and address any delays or issues.

 

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, international trade, marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in export sales, Business Development or related roles.

Skills/Qualifications

Excellent communication / presentation skills and ability to communicate.
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and negotiate effectively across all levels and all functions of the organization.
Fluent in English and Arabic.
Strong analytical skills � ability to interpret complex data and translate it into useful and actionable information.
