General Purpose
Responsible of overseeing drivers and vehicles, planning and scheduling routes, training and evaluating drivers, managing vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
•Analyze maintenance costs and provide recommendations on fleet utilization and replacements.
•Complete performance reviews of staff and jointly determine areas of development and training requirements.
•Develop drivers to maintain fleet vans and improve fuel consumption.
•Develop technicians performance and increasing productivity , utilization , efficiency.
•Ensure the maintenance records for fleet up-to-date through recording all vans expenditures ( fuel, repair parts,etc.).
•Implement and monitor preventative maintenance program to assure cost effective maintenance.
•Maintain safe working conditions.
•Responsible for maintenance and repair of fleet vans.
•Test new Drivers, assigning drivers on fleet vans and managing drivers commitment.
•Track fleet usage and maintain accurate inventory of spare parts.
Experience
More than 5 years of experience in Fleet supervison Preferably FMCG.
Skills/Qualifications
Communication skills.
Strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
Strong knowledge of Fleet Performance Indicators (KPIs).
