General Purpose
Oversees the IT department and other technical operations, responsible for identifying the organization’s IT needs, managing IT projects, ensuring IT security, resolving technical issues, developing and implementing IT policies / strategies and managing IT budgets and contracts
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
• Analyzing, recommending, and implementing IT Systems and Technology to benefit business needs.
• Assisting the business clients in achieving their short- & long-term business goals & objectives by performing complex systems analysis, identifying inadequate or inefficient systems.
• Collaborating closely with other development teams & specialists to ensure timely delivery of commitments to meet the business requirements.
• Communicating actively and updating the business/IT related subjects.
• Conducting feasibility studies, system design evaluation, determining cost/benefit & economic justification for all IT projects (applications & technology) within the assigned business area.
• Coordinating the utilization of IT personnel on integrated projects reviews & evaluate the capabilities of existing systems for conformance to standards and their understanding of the system development & maintenance life cycle.
• Documenting, including project plans, analytical reports, decision backup, information research reports, budget analyses, training plans, business justifications, cost benefit Analysis.
• Driving projects from start and ensure delivery of solutions to meet business requirements to time and budget and Support & troubleshoot any upcoming issues
• Gathering and Documenting business requirements to assist the solution selection
• Guide and assist IT Support Staff in achieving their objectives.
• Identifying, evaluating, and documenting business needs and objectives, operational processes and procedures, problems, and requirements
• Maintaining a repository of performance metrics and generate management reports illustrating statistical data and graphs.
• Managing IT projects within Beyti.
• Monitoring and assessing the performance of business IT Support Team.
• Preparing capital expenditure proposals after consultation with the Beyti functions’ Heads, Infrastructure & Technical Support Manager for the purchase of new Infrastructure/Communication/ equipment.
• Providing business knowledge & technical leadership in projects identification.
• Recommending operational and process improvements based on efficiencies and available technologies
• Reporting to Beyti Mancom monthly the IT Services Operational performance of all sites under his control and highlight areas of concern.
• Reviewing application utilization statistics with an objective to ensure optimal performance, initiate corrective action to fix any issues arising
• Reviewing the security controls periodically and taking appropriate corrective action"
• Translating the business requirements into Functional Specifications detailing the overall approach to address & resolve the need with minimal supervision.
• Adhering and complying with the security policies and procedures.
Experience
15+ years’ experience in FMCG
Should have worked in a similar position for at least 4 years.
Skills/Qualifications
Awareness of latest IT updates
Excellent Communication Skills
Excellent Customer Service Management Skills, Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
Experience in Software Development and IT Project Management
Full knowledge of SAP and sales out system
Good English Skills ( writing, reading & speaking )
ITIL or any equivalent IT Service Delivery/Process Definition Standards
Knowledge Business Process Analysis / re-engineering
Knowledge of Corporate Functions
Knowledge of ISO or any other standards in IT or Business area
Knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Communication Technologies in the Market
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
MBA or PMP certification is a plus.
