Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

a. Ensures that Company project management methodology is used for effectively managing Projects which are deemed crucial for the realization of Beyti Strategic.
b. Facilitates effective governance of IT Commercial Projects through Project and Program Boards.
c. Takes ownership and delivers Project Documentations as mandated by Beyti Project Management methodology ( where appropriate and/or authorized by Project Board )
d. Advises the IT Team with recommendations as and when there is a contention between business demand and IT Services.
e. Supports business Project Managers; IT Leads and IT Business Analysts across the functional portfolio of projects.
f. Agrees, monitors and reports on the ongoing IT Service delivery of against IT Service Level Agreements with Business.
g. Escalates and pursues resolution of persistent issues or service failures through the IT organization.
h. Ensures IT alignment at a project level through communication and co-ordination with IT
• Embeds the IT strategy for the Business by identifying best practice applications. Develop and co-ordinate implementation plans that support best practice and the IT strategy.
• Ensuring opportunities for change are understood and exploited for the future benefit of the business.
•Acts as an effective Beyti spokesperson in dealing with external stakeholders (IT associations and core IT suppliers).
•Build and sustain strong engagement with relevant business functions/key stakeholders, to understand the business’s requirements for IT services and solutions and enable effective IT delivery.
•Build trust and establish authentic relationships through own behaviors and actions to enhance relationships between Commercial and IT.
•Develop and maintain key businesses engagement and analysis competencies within the Business IT team to guarantee our ability to meet business enhancement needs in the future.
•Engage in open, effective, and mature conversation at all levels of the organization to give input, shares knowledge and obtain learning's within a team context.
•Engage with others in accordance with Beyti business and guiding principles.
•Ensures all system activities comply with the company’s Security policy and guidelines.
•Evaluates business opportunities against our knowledge of available technology solutions, to improve productivity.
•Is responsible for line management functions within the IT Business team.
•Manages the IT Commercial portfolio of projects and change requests, ensuring the measurement of the value created against agreed plans and feedback on their success, issues, and opportunities.
•Manages the level of customer satisfaction, by responding to customers’ queries, encouraging customers to take part in the continuous improvement of the products and services supplied.
•Negotiates and manages the Service level Agreements between Commercial and IT (where applicable).
•Network and liaise effectively with Management in Business and IT."
•Portfolio and Program Management
•Provide guidance to Business in terms of information technology innovation and means of exploitation through assessing future technologies that will enhance business performance.
•Provide the Commercial function with the analysis of information collected thru Commercial solutions to make strategic/tactical decisions
•Provides overall systems support and customer service for the designated business area through self, support staff, contractors and external software houses.
•Supports and Co-ordinates IT Commercial enhancement activities to ensure continued speed, direction, implementation, and benefits achievement in line with business objectives.
•Takes steps to ensure the alignment of functional projects with cross-functional initiatives, projects, and processes to achieve company objectives.
•Through business consultancy, support the functions in managing business partnerships between Business and IT.
•Work with the business and IT to scope, plan, resource, and budget project activities

Experience

Skills/Qualifications:

A broad knowledge of Commercial, preferably in a FMCG company, and an understanding of the impact of IT.
Able to demonstrate meaningful contribution and achievement at all levels of experience.
Excellent team working and people development skills.
Experience of integrated Commercial processes and the functional interdependencies involved.
Expertise in applying Commercial, Sales and data analysis techniques has a practical understanding of systems development methodology. Has insight into application development tools, corporate and industry standards.
Highly mature with strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge or recent experience of eBusiness/TM&D/CRM/SRM developments and delivery required.
Project management diploma and/or experience.
Sound knowledge of best practice and leading edge thinking for systems, organization, and processes throughout the value chain.
Strong business consultancy ability and creative thinking together with high credibly when operating outside the IT function.
