MRP Planner

Job Description

• Manage the material availability to production with respect to the stock level required (Inventory Policy) to be maintained for each item to ensure preventing materials Out of Stocks.
• Monitor the projected stock cover and take proactive action to prevent potential overstocking / excepted OOS.
• Provide the Call off & Procurement team with the needed delivery schedule for the contracted materials.
• Run the MRP based on the SAP parameters and place the necessary P/R’s / PO’s accordingly.
• Ensure the actual consumption of material is matching the planned consumption in terms of compliance to BOM and uploaded PP and highlight the deviation to the stakeholders and put with them the corrective / preventive action.
• Attend the category task force meeting and commit with the stakeholders on the project timeline (innovations / Promos and new launches), highlight any constrains may affect the launch and work with the team to minimize it.
• Monitor the material shelf life with relation to the planned consumption and take proactive action (with all stakeholders like Production Planning, R/D, Manufacturing, Procurement, etc ) to avoid material write off.
• Highlight / share the slow moving / stagnant material list with the stakeholders and put the necessary liquidating plan with stakeholders (Marketing, DP, SP, Finance).
• Material actual consumption Vs PP and key reasons behind deviation.
• Overstocking / understocking cases with key reasons and corrective actions.
• Control and monitor phase in and phase out process to minimizing the left over and write off costs, insuring all the stakeholders are aligned in case of any potential charges will be incurred during implementation.

Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering is preferred or Bachelor's degree in supply chain / Logistics. 
• Minimum 2 of experience in similiar role
